The Karl August enjoys a fantastic location right in the heart of Nuremberg, steps away from the main square and Christmas markets, making it ideal for exploring the city. Guests often praise the modern and stylish design of the hotel and cozy rooms, though some found certain rooms a bit small. The pool with city views and sauna on the 4th floor are highlights, and many appreciate the integration with the downstairs cafe, which serves great coffee and pastries.

Adequate, but with Definite Shortcomings

good locationmissing minibarhard-to-find qr code
The location was good. It met my basic expectations.
I missed some expected amenities. There was no minibar in the room. It was a noticeable absence. The QR code to contact reception was hard to find. I discovered it by accident, and the hotel should have made that more prominent.
